Alpine designed their Status Series of car audio components to deliver high-resolution sound in the automotive environment. Their HDZ subwoofers extend this level of quality by using technology developed for Alpine's premium F#1 Status Series car speakers. Built To Deliver
The HDZ-W12 starts with a solid cast aluminum frame that supports the cone and motor for greater clarity and minimal distortion. The pulp/mica cone combines accuracy and warmth, and the proprietary High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround and dual progressive spiders deliver the precise low end needed for hi-res sound. A carbon-fiber dust cap protects the 65mm voice coil, and the included mesh grille and aluminum trim ring complete the package, offering both protection and good looks.
Power And Flexibility
This HDZ-W12 subwoofer is designed to handle a whopping 800 watts of RMS power handling (2400 watts peak) so you'll get all the bass you're looking for and more. Its dual 4-ohm voice coils give you plenty of system configuration options, so you can build a Status Series system that's right for you. Whether as part of a full Status Series system or as an addition to your current system, you'll get supreme accuracy and full, solid high-fidelity performance.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item).
You should expect to receive your refund within two-three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
