Open Box Policy

What Does Open Box Mean? 

Open box usually refers to an item that has been opened prior to the product being returned or it was used as a store demo/display model. The reason for return can vary per customer and may be based on the dislike of the product colour or in some cases an equally trivial reason but not because the product has been damaged.

A-Stock

Open box (A-Stock): Is a term used when a product is “like new and in brand new condition”. In most cases the product has not been used but the packaging may have been opened. 

B-Stock

Open box (B-Stock): Refers to products that may have been returned to the original manufacturer or were previously used as a display/ floor model. These products usually include the original packaging/accessories and have been thoroughly checked and recertified for resale. 

C-Stock 

Open Box (C-Stock): Refers to a product that has sustained appreciable wear and shows visible signs of use. Likely these products were used as a floor/ demonstration model or returned to the manufacturer due to an issue unrelated to the functionality of the product and may not include any of  the original accessoires. 

Refurbished 

Refurbished: Refers a product that has been used and required refurbishment. Usually with refurbished products they can show major to minor signs of wear and do not include any of its original packaging; meaning the box, manuals or accessories are not included. Refurbished products have been cleaned, repaired and inspected before being sold. 

Clearance 
Clearance: Our clearance sale is intended to clear the shelves of any out of date models and or  sale items. In some cases these products may be discontinued, no longer available or simply out of date. Our clearance items are final sale and will not be applicable for any returns or exchanges.

 Open Box Warranty Policy: 

Open box product(s) come with a 7 day exchange policy (subject to approval by the seller). The buyer will have 7 days upon receiving the product(s) to request an exchange for an equal or greater value product or store credit. After the 7 day exchange period any return request will be declined and not accepted. Returned product(s) without an approved RMA (Return Material Authorization) number from the seller will not be processed or refused.    

Any shipping and handling expenses on returns are the buyer’s responsibility, unless a processing error has occurred, in which case a ground label will be provided. Legal action will be taken if the buyer refuses to take responsibility for these charges along with the cost of any legal expenses that occur. In the event of returning the product, the buyer is fully responsible for the safe return of the product to us.

Item(s) must be returned within 7 days after the issue of an RMA. The returned merchandise should include the following RMA number that was issued by the seller, buyer’s full name, shipping address, contact phone number, and the reason for return.

Returned merchandise should be well packed to prevent damages. Any missing parts, damaged items or inappropriate information will not be accepted or subjected to a restocking fee up to 25%. Any unidentified return which is aged over 14 days, Singh Electronics will have the right to dispose of such items without notifying the buyer. No replacement will be issued on any unidentified return once it has been disposed of.
