About: Axxess AXAC-GM1 Camera Data Interface with Pre-Wired Harness for Select 2015-2020 Chevrolet/GMC Vehicles

The AXAC camera-switching interface is designed to retain the factory backup camera while enabling the addition of aftermarket front and side cameras to the factory radio system. This interface supports up to four camera inputs— not including the factory camera—and uses CAN bus communication to automatically switch camera views based on vehicle functions such as reverse and turn signals, providing enhanced visibility and seamless integration without sacrificing factory features.
This LVDS camera switching interface is intended for use on 8” factory screens to enable a single camera input or add up to 4 cameras. This interface can be programmed to automatically activate the camera inputs in response to turn-signal or reverse triggers via the vehicle’s CAN bus. The Rear Video Assistant (RVA) option keeps the camera active throughout the trip, allowing the driver to monitor the trailer hitch, a baby in the rear seat, or rear cargo.

• Can also be manually controlled and used with an aftermarket radio
• Rear Video Assistant (RVA) option can be used to keep a camera active
