Intuitive Touchscreen display

This pocket-sized dash cam features a clear 2.4” lcd display. The intuitive touchscreen makes it simple and easy to see immediate playback, adjust settings and review video clips. 

Automatic Incident Detection

Once plugged into your vehicle’s power source, the camera continually records and saves video with gps location, date and time, so you can just set it and forget it. 

Garmin Clarity Polarizer

See important details more clearly, and reduce windshield glare — thanks to the built-in garmin clarity polarizer lens enhancement.

View and Share Videos

The vault makes it easy to securely share your important videos. With a paid vault subscription and wi-fi® connectivity, saved video clips are accessible by using the garmin drive app on your compatible smartphone.

Voice Control

Keep your hands on the wheel by using voice commands to tell the camera to save video, start and stop audio recording and more. This feature is available in english, german, french, spanish, italian and swedish.

Features: 

• Parking guard: Get a smartphone alert when your dash cam detects an incident to your parked car. This requires a paid vault subscription, active wi-fi connection and constant power; some vehicles will require use of the constant power cable (sold separately).
• Live view: When you are away from your parked car, access a live view from your dash cam. This requires a paid vault subscription, active wi-fi connection and constant power; some vehicles will require use of the constant power cable (sold separately).
• “Go” alerts: This feature notifies you when stopped traffic in front of you has started to move.
• Forward collision warnings: Get alerts if you’re driving too closely to the vehicle ahead (certain conditions may impair the warning function).
• Lane departure warnings: Receive alerts if you drift off the road or across the center line (certain conditions may impair the warning function).
• Red light and speed cameras: Get notifications for nearby red light cameras and speed cameras (not available in all regions).
• Dash cam video sync: Get more awareness with more camera viewpoints. View synchronized video clips from up to four dash cams (each sold separately) by using the garmin drive app.
• Durable by design: This dash cam withstands harsh vehicle environments, including direct sunlight and heat.
• Travelapse™ trip highlights: Share your drive with friends, and easily condense hours of driving footage into minutes of highlights for a fun, creative video.
• Extra usb port: The included charger has an extra usb port, so you can power your dash camera, phone or even your navigation device.
• Memory card required: This dash cam requires a microsd™ memory card (sold separately) and supports up to 512 gb.
• Constant power cable: Certain vehicles will require a constant power cable (sold separately) to enjoy select features that require continuous power to your device.
• Tidy install: The compact device easily mounts inside your vehicle. It is powered by a slim cable, which features two routing options — upward or downward — for a tidy and discreet installation.
