These speakers are sensitive enough to work well with a factory or aftermarket stereo, but they will really shine when powered by an external amplifier. Additionally, Infinity has devised a secure method to boost the power of your system a little bit: these 3-ohm speakers combine with your car’s speaker wire to give your car stereo the impression of a true 4-ohm impedance.

Thanks to their large polypropylene woofer cones and sturdy hi-roll rubber surrounds, Reference Series speakers produce intense sound every mile you drive. The speaker's remarkable performance is further enhanced by the cones' ability to move more air than other speakers of a comparable size. The clear and smooth highs produced by the 1/2" textile balanced-dome tweeters provide an unmistakably Infinity sound.
