About: JBL AMPCBA5055AM(Club A 5055) High Performance 5-Channel Amplifier
The Club A5055 5-channel amplifier delivers a powerful 50-Watts RMS to each of the front and rear speakers in your car, and a pounding 500-Watts RMS to the subwoofer channel — a much smarter ratio of subwoofer-to-full-range power than what is typical in 5-channel amps. You can also bridge the amp to 3-channel mode to deliver 140-Watts RMS to your front speakers while driving your sub with 500-Watts RMS. Speaker-level inputs allow this amplifier to integrate into almost any system, even one using your car's factory radio. Separate high-pass and low-pass crossovers on the front and rear channels allow you dial in the perfect roll off to best suit speaker placement and cabin acoustics. The subwoofer channel features a low-pass crossover, selectable bass boost, and phase switch to optimize subwoofer performance.
Compact Size
The JBL Club A5055 amplifier features a low-profile chassis and a small overall footprint to fit in more vehicles where available space is limited.
High and Low Level Input
Speaker-level and low-level inputs allow the Club A5055 to integrate with both aftermarket and factory car stereo systems.
Variable Crossover and Bass Boost
Unlike many amplifiers available at similar prices, the JBL Club A5055 features variable electronics crossovers and bass boost circuits allowing for precise system tuning and performance.
The Club A5055 has been engineered using Balanced Differential Inputs to ensure low noise and distortion even at high outputs levels. This also makes it far less susceptible to line induced radiated engine noise.
When low-level inputs are used, this control adjust the input sensitivity between 200mVrms and 2.0 Vrms. When high-level inputs are used, this control adjusts the input sensitivity between 2Vrms and 20Vrms.
On-board circuitry protects the Club A5055 from shorts, high-temperature, overvoltage and undervoltage, An LED indicator is provided to let you know when one of these conditions exists.
Phase Switch
This switch changes the input phase to inverted or non-inverted. This is especially helpful with the subwoofer channel.
The RBC wired remote is an easy installation and can be mounted for convenient volume adjustment from driver's seat.
