Born from the same DNA as our flagship JL Audio C7 speakers, the C6 series component system combines the smoothness and transparency of a premium silk dome tweeter with a top-flight 6.5-inch woofer to create a loudspeaker system with exceptional refinement and dynamic capability.

PREMIUM AUDIO QUALITY

Pairing a full-frame 6.5-inch woofer with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, the C6 series offers advanced sound technology for an exceptional car audio listening experience. When purchased as a component system, premium passive crossover networks are included with the speakers.

DMA-OPTIMIZED WOOFERS

Proprietary motor, suspension and cone modeling systems are employed, resulting in reduced distortion, improved transient performance and stellar sound quality. The woofer’s center cap is designed to optimize its high-frequency response for seamless tweeter transition.

SILK DOME TWEETERS

An edge-driven pure silk dome tweeter design, when paired with the C6 woofer, produces sparkling detail with excellent off-axis response and damping for balanced coverage in your listening environment. An automatic, solid-state tweeter protection circuit minimizes the possibility of tweeter failure.

PASSIVE CROSSOVER NETWORKS

Included with each C6 component system, these premium filter networks offer 4 levels of tweeter adjustment. The three-way component system includes an additional 4 levels of midrange adjustment. All incorporate polyester film and electrolytic capacitors as well as low-loss air-core inductors — all accessible beneath a protective polycarbonate cover.

Benefiting from years of woofer design experience, the robust JL Audio 6.5-inch C6 component speakers feature purpose-engineered cast-alloy frames outfitted with our Elevated Frame Cooling technology.

POWERFULLY ADAPTABLE

On a wide range of car audio applications, the C6 speaker system delivers superb sound when powered by an amplifier in the 25- to 150-watt range. The woofer’s oversized voice coil offers extended power handling capability while minimizing thermal compression and distortion at higher volume levels.
