Horn-Loaded Performance

Built on Klipsch’s renowned Tractrix® horn technology, the Designer Series delivers powerful, detailed sound with exceptional clarity. The DS-180CDT features an 8” polypropylene woofer paired with a 1” silk dome tweeter mounted to a round Tractrix® horn, producing dynamic, room-filling audio ideal for distributed audio, home theater, or 2-channel systems.

Patent-Pending SkyHook™ Tool-Free Installation System

The innovative SkyHook™ installation system automatically engages the dog legs when the speaker is inserted into the cutout, applying a preset clamping force. This eliminates the risk of overtightening while significantly reducing installation time—by up to 75%.

Controlled Dispersion Technology™ (CDT)

CDT allows both the tweeter and woofer to be angled up to 15° in any direction, ensuring optimal on-axis sound performance across a wide range of listening positions.
