About:Metra 99-4812 GM Universel EQ 1 1/2" 82-91

The 99-4812 radio kit is designed for General Motors (GM) vehicles manufactured between 1982 and 2002 that are equipped with J-2000 panel-style factory head unit provisions. If you’re installing an aftermarket radio, this kit provides the necessary components for a seamless integration. Here’s what’s included in the kit:

• Radio Housing: This component holds the aftermarket head unit securely.
• Flat Faceplate: Choose from either a ½" or 1" faceplate to match your vehicle’s dashboard.
• Equalizer Dummy Plate: If you’re not using an equalizer, snap this plate into the opening.
• Rear Support Bracket and Bullet: These pieces help stabilize the head unit within the housing.
• Carriage Bolts and Keps Nuts: Used to mount the Metra bracket(s) or factory bracket(s) to the housing.
• Hex-head Screws: Secure the head unit/kit assembly to the sub-dash.
