About: Metra 99-7821B Double-DIN/Single DIN Dash Kit for Honda Civic (Excluding LX models) 2016-2021

This TurboTouch® dash kit has a built-in touchscreen and electronics that retain most of the important features normally lost when replacing the factory radio. The dash kit’s color touchscreen display shows climate and personalization settings that would have been seen on the original screen, and this kit fits either a 2” tall (Single-DIN) or a 4” tall (Double-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard.

This stereo installation kit makes radio replacement easier and comes with several of the items you need to help retain safety and convenience features. The included wiring harness and interface allow the Honda LaneWatch™ camera to keep working, ensures that the factory backup camera will work on the new screen, and retains the use of the audio control buttons on the steering wheel. An antenna adapter is also included to allow AM/FM radio stations to work on the aftermarket radio. For installing a 2” tall (Single-DIN) radio, a pocket is included to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. (The pocket is not needed when installing a 4” tall radio).

If the vehicle has a factory amplifier that needs to be retained, the AXSP-HN (sold separately), should be purchased. (To know whether or not this applies to your vehicle, check to see if it has the factory subwoofer or center channel speakers.)

The dash kit is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the original look and feel of the vehicle’s dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality but requires this dash kit to make it fit and to retain the climate control display and many of the personalization features that would otherwise be lost.
