About: PAC RP4-VW11 Radio Replacement Interface with SWC Retention for Select Volkswagen Vehicles 

All in one radio replacement and SWC interface, the innovative RadioPRO4 comes pre-loaded with amplifier retention and SWC software, navigation based output signals and other features that save time and money during installation.

The RP4-VW11 interface allows the replacement of a factory radio in select Volkswagen vehicles with LSFT-CAN databus radios. Using this interface will retain factory features such as steering wheel controls (SWC) and the factory Volkswagen amplifier when the original radio is removed. Use of this interface also allows you to program two radio functions to each SWC button by using short press long press dual command functionality. The RP4-VW11 also provides data bus driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed signal (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake.

Compatibility Note: 

• 2002-2005 Vehicles: In these year vehicles the RP4-VW11 does not provide a Reverse output trigger. This signal is unavailable on the data bus. You must be replacing a factory Double-DIN radio. If the vehicle came equipped with a Single-DIN radio, the RP4-VW11 is not compatible.
• 2004-2007 Touareg: Does not retain amplified system when the vehicles is equipped with factory navigation radio
• In Premium Amplified Systems only two input channels can be used from the aftermarket radio, therefore there will be no fading capability of the aftermarket stereo.
