About: Pioneer GM-DX871 800W RMS Monoblock Amplifier

The GM-DX871 is a 1-channel subwoofer amplifier that can deliver up to 800 watts RMS to your subwoofer, providing powerful bass with a strong and heavy beat. CTA-2006 compliant, this highly efficient Class D amplifier offers impressive, high-quality power in a compact chassis. The speaker-level inputs allow you to install this amp in a factory system without RCA connections. The built-in low-pass filter lets you optimize the sound for your vehicle's interior. Additionally, a wired bass control remote enables you to easily adjust the amount of bass from the subwoofer output. The GM-DX871 amplifier uses high-current, high-grade electronic components and gold-plated RCA connections to ensure maximum performance.

Big Power-Small Size

Pioneer’s extra-efficient Class-D amplifiers mark a dramatic improvement in power output capability, yet are 50% smaller than the current GM-Series Class-AB amplifiers. That makes them more versatile in terms of installation as well as performance.

Packs a Punch

This mono amplifier is rated at a total of 1600 watts (max power) with high-current circuitry that provides all the power you need, delivering 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and up to 800 watts RMS at 1 ohm. Stable, durable circuitry reduces the risk of high input power, allowing the unit to achieve a 1 Ω connection. This design enhances the flexibility to connect multiple subwoofers to the system.

Automatic Signal sensing and Turn-On

When used with an audio source such as an OEM source or a receiver without RCA output, the amplifier will activate as soon as an audio source is detected through the speaker level outputs. When using a pre-amplified source (RCA), this Pioneer amplifier will use the signal (+12Vdc) from the "Remote" input for activation.

Pioneer’s TVC (Total Vibration Control)

Pioneer's TVC (Total Vibration Control) concept used in this amplifier not only increases the rigidity of the unit but also counteracts vibrations that affect sound quality at various points. The fixing points of the main board are optimized to completely suppress external vibrations and small vibrations caused by circuit parts. It adopts a heat sink structure that optimizes the position of large components, mounting screws, heat dissipation, and mechanical vibration suppression.

Protection Control System (PCS)

Pioneer’s PCS continuously monitors the input voltage, current consumption, and operating temperature to automatically adjust the amplifier’s output, ensuring operational stability during long listening sessions or when installed in high-temperature environments.

Independent Variable Filters

The amplifier features a variable low-pass filter (LPF) ranging from 10 Hz to 240 Hz, allowing precise adjustment of the audio bandwidth to optimize the acoustic performance of your subwoofer.
