The PRV Audio D290Py-S 1″ Pro Audio Compression Driver offers unsurpassed vocal and midrange reproduction. Perfect for studio monitors and stage monitors, and stage speakers where high sound quality is required. The Polyimide diaphragms supersede titanium diaphragms, being able to play low frequencies without shattering and performing more accurately at high frequencies.

A specially designed and easily replaceable Polyimide diaphragm on a Kapton former results in a more natural sound with smoother and more accurate high frequency reproduction. The D290Py-S is perfect for stage monitors, studio monitors, and other loudspeaker enclosures where high sound quality and light weight is required. The D290Py-S is assembled with a standard 1 3/8” screw for easy replacement with current 1” horns.
