About: Sony HT-A9M2 Bravia Theater Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos

Transform your living room into your own personal movie theater with the HT-A9M2 BRAVIA Theater Quad 504W 4.0.4-Channel Dolby Atmos Wireless Surround Speaker System from Sony. The four speakers come equipped with stands that convert into wall mounts if needed. Each speaker has 3-way front-facing drivers and an up-firing driver encased in a stylish fabric grille. Altogether, the 16 drivers fill the room with 504W of audio power. That sound immerses you and your family with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround, plus Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping. The Theater Quad is also great for gaming and music. Stream high-resolution audio or up-mix low-res content using DSEE Ultimate, and play smooth, lag-free games with 4K120 video support.

360 Spatial Sound

Sony's 360 Spatial Sound technology helps the BRAVIA Theater Quad fill your room with theater-like sound. Working with industry-standard audio, such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced, an array of 16 drivers create phantom speakers that reflect audio all around you.

Room Calibration

Using Sony's Sound Field Optimization feature, the BRAVIA Theater Quad can automatically calibrate audio settings based on your specific room size, its acoustic characteristics, and your listening position.

Add More Bass

Even with the impressive results of the BRAVIA Theater Quad speakers and their bass reflex ports, you can significantly increase the low-end in your movies, TV, and games with an optional dedicated subwoofer. The Theater Quad control box is compatible with either Sony's SA-SW3 or SA-SW5 wireless subwoofer.

Using the Acoustic Center Sync feature, BRAVIA TV owners can connect to the Theater Quad control box to their TV to utilize the BRAVIA's built-in speakers within the overall surround system. The technically specifically uses the BRAVIA speakers as a part of the center channel, helping to deliver clearer dialogue in movies and TV shows. It also lets you control the surround system's settings directly from the TV menu.

Hi-End Gaming

Play games in 4K at a smooth 120 Hz refresh while taking advantage of HDMI 2.1 with VRR, ALLM, SBTM, and Dolby Vision HDR. VRR and ALLM provide automatic refresh and latency adjustment for stutter-free gameplay. HDR consoles can pick from standard HDR, Dolby Vision, or SBTM, which gives the ability to customize HDR settings to fit the games being displayed. On top of this, PS5 owners can enjoy auto tone mapping and auto genre picture mode.

BRAVIA Connect App

Initial setup of the Theater Quad is a breeze when you download the BRAVIA Connect app to your mobile phone. After you're up and running, you can continue to use the app to control volume, select sound profiles, and access advanced features.

Streaming Music

Play your favorite music services with support for Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth wireless streaming. The BRAVIA Theater Quad is capable of playing back high resolution audio and up-mixing low-res tracks using DSEE Ultimate.

Eco-Friendly

Construction of the BRAVIA Theater Quad is made to have minimal impact on the environment. This is thanks to Sony using approximately 65% less virgin plastic in the construction of the speakers and in their packaging. Also, the fabrics are made from recycled PET plastic bottles.
