Pandora is personalized internet radio that is designed to help you discover new music that you'll love mixed in with music that you already know. With the MVH-S720BHS, you can enjoy superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora experience in your car directly from the receiver. You are able to give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data. In-dash control for Pandora is compatible with Apple iOS and Android OS. Simply download the free Pandora Radio app to your smartphone, connect it to the MVH-S720BHS via Bluetooth and take your music to the next level

Access music on your smartphone directly from the Pioneer receiver. Search for Artist, Albums and Songs using Pioneer's intuitive interface. With Pioneer receivers you can also access and control select music and radio apps on your smartphone

AOA 2.0 Support for Android™

AOA 2.0 enables Android owners to play music streaming apps and control basic functionality, Play/Pause and Skip Song, using the buttons of the receiver. The new feature requires the Android device to be running Android 4.1 or newer and be plugged into the receiver via the USB connection on the front of the unit

MIXTRAX

MIXTRAX® is an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a nonstop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer's rich DJ heritage and our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to those in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPhone or USB device, and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver. Simply connect your USB compatible device and listen as tracks are joined by various random sound effects in nonstop mix play to keep the groove going in full swing. SiriusXM Ready

The MVH-S720BHS is SiriusXM-Ready™ so you can get over 140 channels, including commercial-free music plus the best sports and live events, comedy, news, exclusive talk and entertainment. SiriusXM programming is received through the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner (sold separately, SiriusXM subscription required). Simply connect the SiriusXM SXV300 tuner to the Pioneer receiver and receive additional features like TuneMix™, SportsFlash™ and Traffic and Weather Now™. 

Android Music Support

Users of Android devices runing operating system 4.0 or later can connect to the MVH-S720BHS to listen to music stored on their device without the need for an app. The process is made possible using Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). MTP allows the CD receiver to recognize the Android smartphone as a music storage device. Users can now access music via USB stored on an Android device and operate basic operations like FF, REW, Play, Pause, Random Play, and Repeat. Metadata information such as track, artist, and album name can be displayed

USB Auto Switch

The receiver also includes the USB Auto Switch feature so when the phone is connected via USB the listener has the option to choose whether the receiver uses the phone as a source, or just charges the device

Customize Your Colors

Dual-zone color illumination allows you to customize the color of the text on-screen as well as select another color for the button illumination so you can express your personality right in your dash. Over 210,000 colors are available for an endless number of color combinations to match the illumination in any vehicle. The 10-level brightness control allows you to customize the brightness of your screen. This adjustment can be made with 10 levels of brightness allowing you to adjust the MIXTRAX and illumination settings to your liking

FLAC Codec Support

Pioneer Car Stereo Receivers upgrade in-car audio with amazing sound reproduction with their ability to play FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files, which are 50-60% smaller than WAV files yet retain the integrity of the original sound sources.
