The 8MB500-4 was designed to provide outstanding durability and strong mid bass punch. This 8″ midbass car speaker is purpose-built to cover the critical low frequency range in a custom car stereo setup. Optimized to work great as a door speaker in car audio applications. If you need a speaker at 8 Ohm for a large custom door panel, we have the 8MB500. The latest technology enables us to increase the magnet field dramatically without using huge magnets, making this midbass one of a kind, with a large motor diameter that is not bulky, yet is capable of handling high power! This is a great choice for a 3-way system, where you can combine a super tweeter with a subwoofer to get a full spectrum of audio. Built with premium components to ensure absolute high sound fidelity, one of which is its compact push terminals, which connect to its silver tinsel lead wires attached to its high temperature CCAW voice coil. Featuring a naturally damp paper cone and special coated dust cap, it makes this midbass speaker able to cover a wide range of frequencies from 75 Hz to 7,500 Hz. Developed to perform well in tight enclosures, its triple roll surround keeps its cone travel linear at high mibdass excursion. Using the right combination of cone and suspension, this speaker is able to reproduce human vocals with dynamic midbass punch.
