Reproducing authentic sound

When an original music source is compressed, it loses the high-frequency elements that add detail and richness to a track. Our Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE™) faithfully restores these to produce high-quality sound that's closer to the original recording.

ULT WEAR is even better with the Sound Connect app. The simple, intuitive interface lets you dial in your ideal sound and shortcut settings and can keep track of your recent listening history. Safe Listening even lets you check you're in line with WHO healthy listening habits.

With compatible smartphones and services1, head tracking creates a realistic and compelling listening experience by automatically adjusting sound fields to compensate for your head movement. In Ambient Sound mode, the ULT WEAR headphones allow in more ambient sound, thanks to precision feedforward and feedback mics, so you can enjoy a natural listening experience while staying connected to your environment. Plus, the Sony | Sound Connect app allows you to adjust the ambient sound in 20 levels, or use the Focus on Voice setting to chat without removing your headphones.

Adaptive Sound Control automatically adjusts to whatever you do

Adaptive Sound Control is a smart function that senses where you are and what you're doing, then adjusts ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience. It even recognizes locations that you frequently visit, such as your workplace, the gym, or a favourite café, and switches the sound modes to suit the situation.

With up to 30 hours of battery life, you'll have enough power to keep listening all day and into the night. And if you need to top up in a hurry, a three-minute quick charge will give you up to 90 minutes extra play time. Battery life is up to 50 hours with Noise Cancelling off.

In one tap, the ULT WEAR enables quick, effortless Bluetooth pairing with your Android devices12. You can even check to see where you last placed it.

Easy pairing with your computer 

Swift Pair makes it quick and easy to pair your headphones with your Windows 11 or Windows 10 laptop, desktop PC or tablet. When pairing mode is selected, pop-up pairing guidance appears on nearby Windows 11 or Windows 10 devices.
