Redefined 4K Clarity with Dual HDR

• ELITE 9 offers improved dash cam performance with advanced HDR technology. It is designed to provide clear and well-balanced video recordings in both bright sunlight and low-light situations.
• 4K UHD + 2K QHD: Top-of-the-line Sony IMX678 STARVIS 2 image sensors in the front camera and IMX675 STARVIS 2 in the rear camera, recording at respectively 3840×2160 and 2560×1440 pixels resolutions.
• Dual HDR: HDR support on both front and rear cameras. BlackVue HDR also reduces motion blur and improves detail, making license plates easier to read on moving vehicles.
• The front camera integrates an 8-element f/1.7 aperture lens with great light-gathering capability and the rear camera’s 7-element f/2.0 aperture lens provides a great mix of depth of field and low-light performance. The lenses cover a 146-degree (front) and 142-degree (rear) angle wide field of view with minimal distortion.

12-Bit Capture, HEVC Compression

• 12-Bit: ELITE 9 Series utilizes a professional-grade 12-bit 4K sensor, which captures a massive palette of over 68 billion colors at the source. This rich data is intelligently processed, resulting in a final 8-bit video file that boasts superior clarity.
• ELITE 9 Series utilizes HEVC (H.265) compression, which is the leading standard in 4K recording and broadcasting. The primary benefit of HEVC is that it ensures the best video quality at any bitrate.

Up to Over 12 Months of Protection!

In Power Saving Mode, the dash cam minimizes power consumption by going into standby, then wakes up on impact and goes back to standby mode after 1 min recording. Provides several weeks of protection when hardwired to a car with a healthy battery and up to several months of protection when paired with BlackVue Ultra Battery (B-130A).

• Ultra-Low Current Draw: Under 1 mA! It’s actually under 0.5 mA. Literally hundreds of times less than a dash cam’s standard mode draw.
• Ultra-Fast Wakeup Time: Under 1 second! Starts recording as soon as an impact is detected.
• Minimized heat: in standby, ELITE 9 generates almost no heat, so it operates reliably even in hot weather.

The Best Daily Protection with Pre-Event Recording

2 standard Parking Mode settings.

• Motion Detection: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever a motion is detected by the front or rear camera. Motion detection areas can be set manually in the app.
• Time Lapse: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1 minute video covers 30 minutes of real time. Recommended if you routinely park in busy areas.

Comprehensive Event Detection

Detects and records driving impacts, parking impacts, sudden acceleration, hard braking, sharp turns, and overspeeding using the built-in G-Sensor and GPS.

Always Get the Full Picture!

With buffered recording, Event clips always include the action that led to the triggering event.

• All Event clips last 1 minute and start 10 seconds before an incident, so you can clearly identify who’s at fault.

Your Most Important Clips are Protected

Like every dash cam, ELITE constantly records in a loop. When the microSD card storage is full, older clips are automatically overwritten by newer footage. With its Event File Protection function, ELITE ensures that critical footage is not overwritten by normal driving clips.

Safe Operation in Extreme Temperatures

ELITE 9 is engineered to run smoothly in both hot and cold weather.

• Supercapacitor: provides short-term power for error-free recording in case of power loss. Highly resistant and stable in extremely hot and cold temperatures.
• Overheat protection: ELITE 9 operates at temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to +65°C (149°F). If the ambient temperature reaches 75°C (167°F), it shuts down to protect itself. When down to 65°C, it turns back on.
