Open Box, Refurbished & Clearance
Product Condition Definitions
Open Box products refer to items that have been previously opened but remain fully functional. These products may originate from customer returns, cancelled orders, display models, or internal demonstrations. Product condition varies by stock classification.
A-Stock (Open Box – Like New)
- • Product is in like-new condition
- • Minimal or no signs of use
- • Original packaging may be opened
- • Includes original accessories where applicable
B-Stock (Open Box – Good Condition)
- • Product may show minor signs of handling or installation
- • Fully tested and verified functional
- • Typically includes original packaging and accessories
C-Stock (Open Box – Used Condition)
- • Product shows visible cosmetic wear
- • Fully functional unless otherwise stated
- • Packaging and accessories may be incomplete
- • Cosmetic imperfections are expected
- • Cosmetic wear does not impact product performance and is not considered a defect.
Refurbished Products
Refurbished products are items that have been previously used and restored to working condition. These products:
- • May exhibit minor to moderate cosmetic wear
- • May not include original packaging, manuals, or accessories
- • Have been tested for functionality
- All refurbished products are final sale. No returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Clearance Products
Clearance items may include:
- • Discontinued models
- • End-of-life inventory
- • Open box items
- • Special promotional pricing
- All clearance items are final sale. No returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Open Box Exchange Policy
Open Box products include a 7-day exchange window, subject to approval.
Customers have 7 days from delivery to request:
- • Exchange for a product of equal or greater value
- • Store credit
- Refunds are not provided for Open Box items.
- Requests submitted after the 7-day period will be declined.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for an exchange:
- • A valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required
- • Item must be returned in the same condition received
- • All included components must be returned
- • Item must show no signs of misuse or additional damage
- • RMA numbers are valid for 7 days from issuance
- • Products received outside this window may be refused
- Returns without an approved RMA may be refused.
Return Shipping & Packaging
Customers are responsible for:
- • All return shipping costs
- • Safe and secure packaging
- • Retaining tracking information
- Products damaged during return transit due to improper packaging will not be accepted.
Inspection & Acceptance
All returned Open Box items are inspected upon receipt.
Singh Electronics reserves the right to:
- • Reject incomplete or damaged returns
- • Apply a restocking fee of up to 40%
- • Deny exchanges for items not meeting eligibility criteria
- Cosmetic wear consistent with Open Box grading is not considered grounds for exchange.
Unidentified / Unauthorized Returns
Returns received without valid authorization:
- • May be refused
- • May incur return shipping charges
- • May be subject to disposal after 14 days
- Singh Electronics is not responsible for unauthorized shipments.
Important Consumer Acknowledgements
By purchasing Open Box products, customers acknowledge:
- • Products may exhibit cosmetic imperfections
- • Condition grading is accurate but subjective
- • Minor cosmetic wear is not a defect
- • Exchange eligibility is limited
