Today's modern vehicle audio systems are becoming increasingly more sophisticated and complex. PAC engineered AmpPRO to dramatically simplify the installation of upgraded amplifiers in data-bus-controlled amplified sound systems.

The AP4-GM61 provides 6-channel pre-amp outputs (front and rear, left and right, along with a center channel output and non fading output for subwoofer output) for use with aftermarket audio equipment. Using the full range, fixed level head unit output, in conjunction with MOST, the AP4-GM61 delivers variable 5v RMS pre-amp outputs with fading, balance, equalization, and level control capabilities. The module also retains all audio from other vehicle features such as factory navigation prompts, Bluetooth, OnStar, parking sensor chimes, safety alerts, reminders and infotainment. A data controlled remote amplifier turn on wire is also provided by the AP4-GM61. The module also provides a variable 2-channel fiber optic digital audio output (TOSLINK).

Compatibility Notes:

Must have BOSE factory sound system.
Must have Infotainment system RPO code IO5 or IO6 to be compatible.
To verify the "IO" RPO code on your vehicle, check the glove compartment or spare tire well for a silver sticker with these codes. If this sticker is not present, you must scan the QR code on the GM label found in the driver's door jamb. The RPO codes will be listed in alphabetical order in either scenario.

Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item).

You should expect to receive your refund within two-three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
