About: Pioneer SPH-10BT Digital Media Receiver 

The SPH-10BT is designed to accommodate the smartphone lifestyle. When using Pioneer Smart Sync with Amazon Alexa, it opens a new world for this digital media receiver. Mount your smartphone into the built-in cradle, then connect to Pioneer Smart Sync to enjoy a smarter, connected driving experience. Using this application, you broaden your access, whether it be wired or wireless. The receiver has a built-in amplifier and is equipped with two RCA pre-outs. It features a 13-band customizable graphic equalizer, which increases to 31 bands when utilizing Pioneer Smart Sync. Additional features include built-in Bluetooth®, the Pioneer Smart Sync app with Amazon Alexa, USB direct control for iPhone®, and much more.

Pioneer Smart Sync

Pioneer Smart Sync is a highly evolved app, available for both iOS and Android OS, that utilizes the power of a connected smartphone to expand the features and user interface of compatible Pioneer in-dash receivers. With support for either a Bluetooth® or USB connection, the link between your smartphone and the in-dash receiver can be either wired or wireless. Through Pioneer Smart Sync, you can access many popular smartphone apps for maps, messages, music, connect to an OBDII module (sold separately) and more.

Pioneer Smart Sync now features Amazon Alexa Built-in. Just download or update to the latest version of the Pioneer Smart Sync app and download the Alexa app. Using Alexa with Pioneer Smart Sync is simple; just tap-and-ask to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices, and more. Alexa lives in the cloud, so it’s always getting smarter, adding new capabilities that are delivered to your device automatically. Pioneer Smart Sync is a powerful wireless remote control that allows you to easily tune sound via the app's touchscreen interface and save those settings directly on your smartphone.

Smartphone Control

Access music on your smartphone directly from the Pioneer receiver. Search for Artist, Albums and Songs using Pioneer's intuitive interface. With Pioneer receivers you can also access and control select music and radio apps on your smartphone.

Bluetooth 

This receiver makes hands-free phone calls simple. Pioneer’s included external microphone provides crystal clear sound. Stream music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more from your compatible phone or other Bluetooth® devices. 

Siri® Eyes Free

Siri listens through the receiver’s external microphone and answers your questions and requests over the vehicle's speakers, helping you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. 

Wired Remote Input

This receiver integrates an input specifically designed to connect a third-party interface (optional) which will allow you to keep the key functions from the steering wheel control buttons of your vehicle. (if applicable) 

Pioneer Advanced Sound Retriever

Hear more detail, warmth, and clarity that the artist originally intended, even from compressed audio files. Whether from USB or streaming services, and regardless of the level of audio compression from your lossy music sources, Pioneer's ASR enhances audio playback of compressed audio files, such as MP3s, by applying an algorithm to the audio signals. This counteracts the compression effects, providing a more detailed and natural sound.

Audio Equalizer

The 13-band equalizer allows for detailed adjustments to your acoustic settings. This lets you tailor the equalization to match your car's interior acoustics and speaker characteristics as desired. Multiple EQ presets ensure that even users with basic acoustic knowledge can learn and enjoy the benefits of using an equalizer.

Time Alignment 

This feature allows for delay time and synchronizing from each speaker to be adjusted to correct any phase mismatches in the sound resulting from the listening position. No need for any acoustics degree to do the job, simply measure the distance between your listening position and the speakers, then enter these measurements into the Pioneer receiver.

MIXTRAX

Keep the party going with MIXTRAX®, an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer’s rich DJ heritage and our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to those in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPhone, iPod, USB device, or certain Android devices and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver. MIXTRAX makes automatic remixing of tracks extra-quick and easy. Simply connect your USB compatible device and listen as tracks are joined by various random sound effects in non-stop-mix play to keep the groove going in full swing. MIXTRAX also features club-style illumination that enhances the mood with a dynamic dance club-like lighting effect. As MIXTRAX begins, lights start pulsing to the beat of the music, adding an extra level of entertainment. Choose among multiple patterns of lighting variations from sound pressure level or low-pass synchronization modes.
