About: B2 Audio RAGE 5000 Monoblock Amplifier

The RAGE expands with this heavyweight. New Regulated full bridge tech. What does this mean? it means the amp makes same power at 2 Ohms as it does at 1 Ohms. Why is it a good thing? with box rise you would typically loose power as impedance curve changes, as such the power swings more. With the regulated design the power is constant in a 1 Ohm stable application, and it will be felt!

The amplifier is still compact, a mere footprint of 350 x 235 x 68 mm makes the amplifier fit in most installs today. To increase the surface area of the heatsink, the RAGE 5000 has fins on the top, slightly deviating from the sleek heatsink of the M and Zero series. In addition there’s multiple high speed fans positioned in a suck and blow mode to help keep things cool when your voice coils aren’t!

The amplifier also incorporates a new bass remote with voltmeter, clip and thermal reading. Even though it should be common knowledge by now, the full bridge amps are not strapable. Basically because they are already bridged internally.

Note: In order to get the full power output of the amplifier, it is crucial that your electrical system is correctly (over) dimensioned. Failure to upgrading will constrain the power output & lower the efficiency which can cause damage to the amplifier & void the warranty. This also includes ohm loads below of what is written in the manual.
